Identity, Belonging and Vocation

The Identity, Beloging and Vocation stream (IVB) of the Master of Worldview Studies  degree program will be cohort based and led by Dr. Gideon Strauss. The cohort structure will allow students to complete this stream of the MWS program in two years, with a time commitment of one course per quarter.

Courses will be offered in a hybrid mode, offering the flexibility of distance learning paired with the communal experience of one-week intenstive sessions in both Toronto and New York City. All participants in a cohort will be able to build intentional relationships with one another founded on the shared experiences of the core courses and the intensives leading to the completion of the MWS degree.

The Identity, Belonging and Vision stream of the MWS program consists of a total of eight courses. Six of these are required for the concentration, while the remaining two are electives (chosen from a specifically selected group of courses for the IVB concentration). The six core courses are:
