International Students
ICS welcomes and encourages international applicants. Details on how to study at ICS as an international student in Canada follow below. If you have any further questions, please fill out our online inquiry form or contact Jeffrey Hocking at jeffreyh@icscanada.edu.
Student visas will carry restrictions in regards to off-campus employment. Partners of Junior Members, however, can apply for a work permit to enable them to be employed in Canada.
English Language Proficiency Requirements
An applicant whose native language is not English must show evidence of competence to study and write in English at an advanced level. Such an applicant must submit the results of the TOEFL test. This test may be acquired from Educational Testing Services, Princeton, New Jersey USA (www.toefl.org). Applicants must write the code number 9541 directly on their TOEFL exam for the test score to be mailed to ICS.
Due to the academic rigour involved in program studies at ICS, an applicant must exceed a minimum score of 100 on the internet-based TOEFL test (equivalent to a score of 250 on the computer-based or 600 on the paper-based tests).
