Why Give?
Good stewardship—the proper and generous use of our time, talent and treasure—is a calling, or vocation, for every believer. As Matthew's Gospel reminds us, "For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matthew 6:21). We do this through the giving of the things that are precious—of our time in our busy schedules, our abilities in our demanding lives, and our financial gifts in our storehouse—to work that helps to further God's reign and help those who are in need.
