Fri. (non-ICS by appointment only) The library collection is accessible to all ICS faculty and junior members, TST faculty and graduate students, as well as UofT faculty and graduate students. Due to the current space constraints at ICS, we request that all non-ICS members, contact the librarian in order to make an appointment.
A large portion of the ICS library collection is housed in our branch location in Hamilton at 625 Concession St. Items may be requested for consultation at ICS. Expect a 24-48 hour turn-around. If you wish, you can make an appointment with the librarian to do your research at our Hamilton location.

Circulation:
Faculty and students of ICS or the Toronto School of Theology may borrow books. The
general loan period is 4 weeks.
Collection:
The 25,000 volume collection is centred on reformational and foundational studies,
philosophy, philosophy of the disciplines, biblical studies, and the Calvinian tradition
(e.g. Groen van Prinsterer, Kuyper, Dooyeweerd, Vollenhoven, and Rookmaaker).
It includes collections of Herman Dooyeweerd, M.C. Smit, and Bernard Zylstra.
There are Dutch materials, dissertations from the Free University in Amsterdam,
student theses and papers, and faculty works. The library subscribes to specialised
journals such as Faith and Philosophy, Fides et historia, and La revue reformée.
A new collection on Faith & Learning has recently been established. This collection
is focussed on materials which explore the relationship of Christian faith and
intellectual scholarship.
University of Toronto Libraries:
ICS students and faculty with a valid University of Toronto library card may use the
University's libraries, borrow books, and access electronic resources, such as
electronic indexes and journals. Please see the University of Toronto web page for
