President Search

The Institute for Christian Studies (ICS) is an interdisciplinary graduate school where:

  • the gospel’s message of renewal shapes our pursuit of wisdom;
  • scholars focus on the intersection of Reformational philosophy and contemporary scholarship and society.

The Institute for Christian Studies is currently seeking a President who understands and affirms its academic mission and is a seasoned Academic, Strategic, and Community-building Leader. Toward that end, it seeks a person who demonstrates:

  • a commitment to Christian belief and practice;
  • experience in:
    • adapting strategic vision and direction in changing environments;
    • consensus-building within an organization;
    • developing partnerships beyond an organization;
    • communicating vision and mission in a variety of contexts;
  • an earned graduate degree—a doctoral degree or its equivalent.

All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; but Canadians and permanent residents will be given priority.

Applicants are encouraged to send their CVs, three names of potential references, and statements of interest to the attention of Aileen Van Ginkel, Chair, ICS President Search Committee. Strict confidentiality is assured for all applicants.
