Program Structure

The Wayfinding Masters in Worldview Studies consists of eight courses over two years. Four of the degree's eight courses are all-online while the remaining four courses are presented in a hybrid format so that each of these have a five-day in-person intensive in addition to online work.

The program starts in the Fall term of the first year with the Introduction to Worldview Studies course, which kicks off with a five-day intensive (two 90-minute course workshop sessions each day) in Toronto at the same time as the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), with additional online work through the subsequent term.

During that term students also participate in an all-online course, which in some years will be Biblical Foundations and in other years Vocational Wayfinding.

In the Winter term of the first year, the program continues with online work for the Identity, Belonging, and Belief course, which course will include a five-day intensive (two 90-minute course workshop sessions each day) in New York City at dates yet to be determined (based on institutional partnerships) sometime between January and May.

During that term students also participate in an all-online course, which in some years will be Biblical Foundations and in other years Vocational Wayfinding.

In the Fall term of the second year students return to Toronto, once again at the same time as TIFF, for the five-day intensive (two 90-minute course workshop sessions each day) of the Doing Phenomenology course, with additional online work through the subsequent term.

During that term students also participate in an all-online elective course.

The program finishes in the Winter term of the second year with online work for the Adaptivity, Organizations, and Institutions course, which course will include a five-day intensive (two 90-minute course workshop sessions each day) in New York City at dates yet to be determined (based on institutional partnerships) sometime between January and May.
