For details, please visit the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada website. Please note that the processing time and requirements for study permits may vary depending on which country you are applying from.
ICS is a designated educational institution within the International Student Program, please contact our Academic Registrar for the institutional code or search Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada's list.

An applicant whose native language is not English must show evidence of competence to study and write in English at an advanced level. Such an applicant must submit the results of the TOEFL test or the Academic version of IELTS measuring English language proficiency. The TOEFL test may be acquired from Educational Testing Services, Princeton, New Jersey USA (www.toefl.org). Due to the academic rigour involved in program studies at ICS, an applicant must exceed a minimum score of 100 on the internet-based TOEFL test (equivalent to a score of 250 on the computer-based or 600 on the paper-based tests). The minimum required total score is 7.0 on the IELTS Academic test, with at least 6.5 for each component.
