Recruitment Coordinator

Position Description

The Recruitment Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Institute’s strategic plan by recruiting students, and by coordinating the planning and execution of a vigorous, agile, and effective student retention and recruitment strategy that accomplishes the Institute’s tuition revenue goals. The Recruitment Coordinator will be the first in-person point of contact for many of the prospective students of the Institute.

Reporting to the Academic Dean, collaborating closely with the Academic Registrar, and serving as the convenor of the Recruitment Crew, the Recruitment Coordinator will coordinate the planning of a student retention and recruitment strategy, coordinate the rapid iteration of recruitment plans from term to term, coordinate the execution of the recruitment plans, nurture relationships with the champions of and ambassadors for the Institute's programs and courses, directly recruit students, respond to the inquiries of prospective students, and contribute to the development and maintenance of the student database management system.

About the Organization

The Institute for Christian Studies is an interdisciplinary graduate school where the gospel's message of renewal shapes our pursuit of wisdom. ICS is based in Toronto, and has a charter from the Government of Ontario to grant the MA and PhD in Philosophy and the Master of Worldview Studies (MWS) degrees. For more than 50 years, ICS has served those who wish to discern and follow redemptive paths of blessing by educating transformative leaders through a threefold strategic vision that includes teaching in our interdisciplinary graduate programs, research that addresses pressing issues in life and society, and community outreach that seeks to provide intellectual and spiritual nourishment to the wider public.

This position is part-time, 3 days per week. Currently, ICS staff are working remotely.
