We invite you to apply to become a participant in the ART in Orvieto program. Please carefully review the information on this website. Please also take special note of the descriptions of the Seminar on Art, Religion, and Theology; the Artists’ Workshop, and the Writers' Workshop. These units are the heart of the program.
We are looking for people to apply who can see themselves flourishing in the program in Orvieto.
PLEASE NOTE: We have reached the maximum capacity for this program. Any additional applicants can opt in to be put on our waitlist. Our waitlist will close the same day as our application deadline: FEBRUARY 28.

Early Bird applicants will be eligible to receive a $500CAD Ruth and Inès Memorial Scholarship for Artistic Education. Eight (8) of these scholarships will be available on a first come first serve basis to applicants who submit a complete ART in Orvieto application by the December 31 deadline.
All applicants will be notified of their admission status as soon as adjudication is complete after the final application deadline, by March 15 at the latest. Applicants will be asked to confirm their participation in the program by March 31.
Participants will be expected to pay all program fees by April 15.
➤ The Seminar on Art, Religion, and Theology is for graduate students who take the seminar for credit, or adult learners who wish to join the program on a not-for-credit basis.
➤ The Artists’ Workshop serves people who are artists or who aspire to become artists or who want to make artistic practice an important part of their life. The application asks for a sample of your work and a brief statement of what you propose to be working on while in Orvieto.
➤ The Writers’ Workshop is designed for writers who would like to reflect on the role of place in their writing - whether fiction, non-fiction, or poetry. The application asks you to provide a statement of purpose and samples of your current or completed writing project(s).
